Pajamas and Days 2 & 3

Confession: I'm still in my pajamas. It's 5:30.

2 exams this week - Victorian Lit and Art History
Over 15 hours of studying
One short paper
2 intense workouts that left me with a throbbing pain in my lower right calf
Job applications
Lack of sleep

And yesterday I got some exciting news. The HR Generalist from MSLGroup called to let me know that I'd made it through round 2 of their competitive intern selection process. They accept 20-30 applicants of over 600 for their Summer Insider's Challenge Day on April 1st, and I'm one of the few accepted! I was thrilled. Happiness all around. This is a positive step, for sure.

But it also meant that I was updating my portfolio and revising press releases from 9-5 today. MSLGroup only picks 10 of these 20-30 for their 8 week long internship, and they hire a fraction of the 10. Hence the biggest reason for pajamas at dinnertime.

Since I've been absent all week, I'm going to cover Day 2 and 3 of the 30 Day Challenge.

Day 2: The meaning behind your blog name.

The original name for this blog was "Une Fille Dans La Ville", meaning "A Girl in the City", which I was at the time. Now I'm a Walker. So is Blake. It's pretty self-explanatory.

Day 3: A picture of you and your friends.

Here are some of my favorites. I think you can see why.

L-R: Melissa, Rachel, Erica, Jillian, Me, Christy, Rachel, Jessi, Heather

P.S. You're listening to Glee. It's okay if you like it.
"Lean On Me" was a favorite of Rachel's and mine from our uniform days. We'd sing it together on the walk home from school. Pretty darn cute.
