My grandmother's quilt.

Each year at Christmas, my grandmother has a quilt raffle. The winner receives one of her latest masterpieces. It's a pretty big deal.
This year, husband and I won.
Today my grandparents stopped by our apartment to drop the quilt off, complete with an inscription.
Gosh, I wish I'd inherited more of this family's creative genes.

i'm making 2012 the year of the quilt (http://chotapeeleeauto.blogspot.com/2011/12/2012-year-of-quilt.html). i'm not a quilter... should you be at all interested in joining in the endeavor, we could fumble our way through quilting across a few states. :)
